I found this picture and thought it went well with the water theme of this website. Isn’t it cute? Did you know that when people first settled into the state of Utah, there was a locust infestation. There were so many locusts that no one could grow successful crops and the settlers thought that they were going to die. That was until the seagulls flew in and feasted upon all the locusts! Not many know of this history, but anyone who is a descendant of the original settlers of Utah have their lives to thank for thanks to this incredible bird!
